used-car-crooks-9994-mock-car-buying

One disadvantage car buyers have is they go into a dealership ready to buy a car. Once it begins, it is easy for the salesman to suck them into doing things they would not normally do.

I used to work with a guy they called Beaver.... what a lovable goof.

One week end he took me out for 'fun'. I did not know what he was doing at the time when he went 'to buy a car' from a dealer.

The salesman followed us around like a puppy until Beaver spotted the one he was going to buy.

We went inside and they began to haggle. I don't know how long we were in there but just when the salesman handed him the pen to sign the deal, Beaver changed his mind.

'He really couldn't afford to buy a car'

After we left the lot, Beaver was giggling like a school girl. He then wanted to go to another dealer and do it again. While it was a bit of fun, I could not knowingly play that game again.

=============================

After being angry for the last couple of days, I just wondered if a coordinated mock car buying group would have any impact on a car dealer?

Think about it.. just in the middle of big car promotion, a team of mock car buyers randomly drifted into the lot ... and got salesmen's juices flowing, then one by one they all backed out, just before signing?

Once any salesman sold a car with a hidden flaw, the 'buyer' might say, are you the same xxx on this web page? I don't think I would trust buying a car from you.

Car salesmen are experienced at baiting a customer and using their word tricks to sell cars.

The teams of mock buyers would be easy to put together, but an individual could make their own mock buys from other dealers, for a little practice before they are ready to make the actual purchase they are planning.

With the social networking now available, little groups could make crook car dealers suffer more loses than they could make by deception.

Later I will set up a free Yahoo Group and people can see how creative they can be ... using LEGAL methods to engage crooks in used car sales.

Would any one actually do any of these things? Now I am just playing, what IF.... just fun things to imagine.

As is, no warranty ... what does it mean?

5 day, 10 day, 30 day return policy ... what does it mean?

This means as soon as you put your name on the line any pre-existing damage hidden by the buyer is an expense they are stuck with.

If the used car salesman can pass hidden damage on to a buyer, they can stick it to them.

If the damage is discovered by that buyer, no problem, another sucker will come along and will not notice the costly damage.

WHY ARE CARS SOLD AT AUCTION?

When I first looked for one particular car it had high mileage. I told the salesman it was too much. I was then told if they did not sell it on the lot, they would take it to auction for sale.

After getting home and looking at a 'carfax' report, I noticed my car also went through an auction.

Before it was sold at auction a dealer tried to sell it from their lot. Something was wrong with the car or the price was outrageous.

Auctions are not noted for selling cars at a high price. Buyers go to auctions to get things at a cheap price.... That would mean my car was sent to auction because it had damage.

When I was a kid, I remember stories about used car dealers buying junkers at auctions and putting chicken wire in the body to hold it together, putting sawdust in the transmission ... After the damaged cars got past the detection of the suckers, the victims were stuck with the cost.

The used car dealers could laugh with glee from the chickens they plucked.

The damage that was not visible when I bought my car, is very similar to the tricks of the crook car dealers of the past.

Dealer excuse... OH, but we did not know about that damage when we sold you the car?

How many smiling dealers get on TV talking about their reputation, when in fact they know they are dishonest.. cheats... do you know any of them?

If you know any one retired from a car dealer repair department, see if they have any good stories to tell.

It would be great to expose some lying car dealer (who didn't know about the damage), when the damage was covered up in their own shops. The Micky Mouse repairs only need to be out of site, until the customer gets it home for a short period of time.

=============================

Most customers . They do not know what to look for when buying a car.

Car buyers for car dealers are professionals. They know what to look for. That is what they do for a living. They can not play the stupid game. Used car dealers can not use ignorance as an excuse for missing damage in a car they purchase.

Why would any buyer bother to buy a car from a dealer? Unlike dealing with an individual, a dealer has a business to take care of and would have a car inspected before they bought it. The more faults the dealer can find in a car, the lower the price they can offer the owner.

If a dealer sell a car with damage, their only excuse is negligence to inspect the car or because they knew about the damage and concealed it from the buyer.

No reputable car dealer would neglect to inspect a car before they bought it. No buyer who gave a damn about their customers getting the shaft would neglect to inspect a car before buying it for their dealership.

The only reason for a dealership to sell a car with concealed damage to a buyer is because the dealer buyer bought a car with full knowledge of the damage knowing they could sell it to a sucker who would not discover the damage until AFTER they left the lot.

Some times the deception could be on the part of the salesman with out the knowledge of the dealer... BUT after the dealer is made aware of concealed damages and did make it right, that dealership becomes an accessory to deceptive car sales. It is not just the salesman it is the car dealership its self that is dishonest.

As customers we do not go to a car dealer to buy damaged cars, we go there to buy USED cars. If we intended to buy damaged cars, we would buy from a junk yard.

used-car-crooks-9995-social-networking

This is one of dozens of blogs that I have used, now they have utilities to publish your blog to twitter, by e-mail, face book and other social networking media.
The idea is to establish a ring of people in your own area that have been shafted by a crook car dealer.

In the years I have known a little about used car dealers, I remember what kind of people many of them were.

You can do back ground checks on many sites and you can go to the counties where owners/salesmen have lived.

A back ground check on a dealership might be useful.

Creating a web page with pictures of salesmen along with their domestic violence charges, drug charges, criminal activity recorded... great information for visitors to that dealership.

Mug shots of car salesmen would be great press for that particular car dealer. ... hmmm who should you start with?

Remember all criminal records are public domain information

Go to Google, using quotes search for these key words "car salesman convicted". It appears there is something about car sales that attracts swarns of vermon.

* You can go on line and look up law suites. Here we will research all the law suites by and against the crook car dealer. From this we can find the names and addresses of others who might want to contribute their complaints.

Publish a list of law suites against the TV smiling car dealer.

Being able to get away with deception to buyers in the past, most buyers by themselves can do nothing.

The goal of the customer advocate is to unite other customers who have been ripped off and to make crook car dealers lose many folds more than they can gain by dishonesty.

By searching the court dockets, you will be able to gather ALL the law suites a dealer has been involved in. This is great information to publish to potential buyers. They can see what kind of people they are about to deal with.

When you do your research, in every case give the link directly to the court records so there is no question about the validity of your publication.

used-car-crooks-9998-unite with other victims

* Of course my publications will not only include my own story, I will include the complaints every one in this area who has who got the shaft from particular car dealer.

* I can create a free Yahoo Group that will allow their previous customers to share their accounts about buying a car to find undisclosed damaged that cost them hundreds/thousands of dollars.

I will explain how to find a stream of other suckers and pool your efforts to strike back. It does not matter if it was last week or 10 years ago, people who have been conned by a crook car dealer will retain that rage.

How do you find them, how do you get their stories... then how do you put this information in front of those who might purchase a car from that dealer?

This blog is not a reference to any specific car dealer. Crooks thrive with in car sales. This is a general outline of some of their tricks and what the public can do to make them pay.

THREATENED?

When an irrate customer states they are going to take action or report the sham, the car dealer may reply with such words as 'that is a threat'

Imagine being threatened by the truth? When some one does something nice, funny, good ..... they like for their acts to be published.

It is only when some one is involved in something sneaky, negligent, crooked, wrong... that having their acts published is considered a threat.

It is the threats of exposure all potential liars, theives, crooks, criminals from engaging in their deeds. Only those involved in dirty deeds are threatened by the truth.

=============================

SLANDER?

Slander involves false accounts about a person or a business. If Slander included revealing facts about those involved in wrong doing, the news media would be sued out of business.

We must be careful to report accounts/conversations that we can document.

As far as reporting factual information about rip offs, wrong doings, deception .. such is not only allowed, it is protected by free speech.

IT is ONLY the fear of exposure of dirty deeds, that keeps would be stinkers honest.

The best way to document facts is e-mail and voice recordings. I will explain what I have done when dealing with decievers in past experiences.

If/When there is a conflict of who said what .. if any thing is left out, you have every thing said, word for word. (you can also upload voice recordings for safe keeping)

=============================

Of course dishonest car dealers won't care if customers complain as long as it does not cost them money.

In my case, my goal will be to create legal ways that will cost them hundreds times more than the cost me.

Their thoughts will be.. these lemmings are not going to pay thousands of dollars to a lawyer.

The fleeced public need not pay lawyers a dime, nor to use the court system to gain justice.

They depend on their 'reputation' because a good reputation pays back in profit.

The state of their reputation, includes deception/cons they have used to stick it to their customers. If documented evidence reveals raw deals by any dealership and potential buyers are made aware, the cost to that dealership can be in the thousands.

* I have been on the internet for over 40 years. I know how to create pages so they will appear at the beginning of a search . That will soon come.

I used to argue with a 'white supramisit' who pushed the bs white Europeans are the descendants of the actual Israelites. Out side that debate, I learned one thing.

If you know what kind of forms/internet media to publish information, it will be there for a very long time.

The guy I used to debate with has been dead for over 12 years and his BS is still plastered all over the internet.

As long as it is nothing illegal, what I publish can remain on the internet long after I am in a nursing home or dead.

How many potential customers would read the complaints and decide to buy their car some place else?

How many deals would they need to loose to make up for the cost of the unsidclosed damage on the car they sold me?

How many years will my account remain on the internet .. and how many hundreds of sites / groups can I publish the key words of any car dealer .. for search engines to find?

If a car shopper in your own area reads such reports, how hard would it be to simply avoid that dealer and look some place else?

How much gossip might be spread from such a web site... How many other burnt buyers might find others to chat with about their own experience. It cost nothing to find out.
